Things and Stuff

So last week was Easter!  It was great.  Jesse's parents came to visit, and Kourtney and Juan came too.  For the whole Easter fun and pictures, go read Lindy's blog.  She is a wittier blogger than I am, and I don't think I could tell it any better.

Anywho, we went and got some frozen yogurt with Jesse's mom.  I just got some cheesecake yogurt with fruit and graham cracker crust.  I thought mine was a reasonable size:
Mmm.

Jesse had different plans:

Blueberry, strawberry, plain, watermelon, and vanilla, topped with granola, strawberries, blueberries, and a heath bar...
He didn't finish it all...

On Saturday (yesterday) we went bowling!  I am not good at bowling... It was for my mom's boyfriend's son's tenth birthday.  I started out doing really badly.  I bowled a 38 the first game.  The second game was looking the same, until, in the last three frames, I learned how to bowl properly, and opted for the six-pound ball which barely fit my fingers, and bowled an 89! I got the second highest score!

And then Jesse played some Simpson's Hit and Run:

Is it weird that I broke my fast with water and animal crackers?

Anyway, I got called as the Primary Chorister today.  Am I excited? Yes.  Am I terrified?  Yes. Do I have any idea what I'm doing?  Nope.  Guess we'll find out if Heavenly Father really does qualify who He calls.  I'm really hoping so...

  2. You'll do great! The best thing about the kids is they don't ever judge!

I wish I had a cup of your ice cream right at this moment. Sounds delish!!

  4. Ooo fun. I was called last month as Secretary in the Primary Presidency, and part of being in the presidency included being chorister. Granted, we usually had about 5 kids and most of them were under 3. Was I disappointed yesterday when our ward was dissolved and I was released from my calling? Not so much. But you'll love it, that's the best part.
