He took his first steps on his 11 month birthday. He just went for it on his own, without anyone trying to bribe him with snacks or a cell phone. And then we bribed him with a popsicle to get him to do it for the camera. He's still only taking a few steps at a time and then speed-crawling across the room, but soon he'll be walking around, when he wants to.
Anyway, at 11 months, Nathaniel:
-loves rubber ducks of any size or color
-still loves all technology
-still loves bananas
-is not consistent with solid food and mostly eats baby food after spitting most of his solid food out
-claps at the most random times
-waves a little bit and points a lot
-talks non-stop in his own little language
-wears mostly 9-month clothes and size 3 diapers
-moved up to a big boy convertible car seat, and isn't too sure how he feels about it
-likes stuffed animals now
-loves baby wipes travel containers and tries to eat the wipes
-cut his top two teeth
-loves sticking his finger in his nose
-still jumps up and down when he gets excited
-still nurses pretty well
-loves puffs, yogurt melts, and those little baby cheetos
-loves to share popsicles with daddy
-tries to climb stairs, and with daddy's supervision has climbed a whole flight a few times
-holds all of his cell phones (my mom's old ones) up to his ear
-laughs a lot
-still fusses a good bit
-sleeps through the night
-still isn't so good at naps
-still loves music and his keyboard
-loves baths more than ever
-is super ticklish and laughs hysterically when I blow raspberries on his tummy
-still prefers Daddy; I can say Nathaniel 50 times in a row and he won't look at me, but Daddy says it once and he stops what he's doing, looks up, and often crawls to him
-does lots more stuff that's probably only interesting to me
His hair is getting a little bit of curl. |

He won't let my barricade stop him. |
Here's Nathaniel talking in Gibberish:
And here he is with a rubber duck:
11 months!? That's nuts. He is so cute. And I really love the videos! Especially him playing the piano with his butt. Hahaha. Can't believe this month marks 1 year. I just can't!

ReplyDeleteI know! I miss the little newborn so much sometimes, but I can't even remember him being that small. I wish I could just go back for a day so I could remember!
