It May Be the Middle of Januray,

But we finished our gingerbread house!  More specifically, gingerbread Hogwarts.  Jesse concocted the idea in his head some time ago, and our house has been covered in gingerbread walls and such for over a month now, but it's finally done!  And I even helped!

Yes, we have a Harry Potter blanket.

I can't believe we finally finished it!  I wish we could somehow preserve it for next year.  I'll post another blog with some of the How-to's and details later on.

Oh, also, I made this cheesecake for Christmas and never posted a pic.  It's a chocolate chip brownie cheesecake with ganache.

  2. It turned out AMAZING! Yay for gingerbread houses that take a month to finish---just keeps the spirit alive! I can't wait to come and see it!

    and i think the blanket adds a nice touch. makes it feel like an attraction at the harry potter theme park.
