Anywho, we went to the temple on Saturday. Here's a few pics!
Please excuse my hideousness in this picture.
I took my glasses off so I would look more attractive. ha
The individual shots turned out better.
Apparently the temple brings out Jesse's inner model.
Yay!
We stopped at a gas station, and while Jesse pumped the gas, I went inside to go to the bathroom and get a few snacks. I come out of the bathroom, and Jesse, with a smirk on his face, says, "Did you just go in the men's bathroom?" Sure enough, I did. I was wondering why the toilet seat was up when I went in.
Also, teaching Primary was fun, but a little scary. Between the two of us we had a hard time getting all the kids to sit down and listen. They kept getting up, sitting on the top of their chairs, climbing the walls, and coming up to the front of the class while I was teaching. But we colored some good pictures, and I think they all learned a little something. One little girl was exceptionally smart. We were talking about Joseph Smith's First Vision and this little girl answered a question about it and then says, "it's like when Nephi..." and launches into a story about Nephi and completely relates it to what we were talking about. She was six! This blew my mind.
All-in-all I would call it a great weekend!
Thank you so much for teaching my class! They can be a little wild but I'm always surprised at how much they know. And I'm pretty sure i know which little girl was answering with related church stories. Probably the same one that pretty much taught the whole lesson last week! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good weekend! How far away from the temple do you live? It sounds like an all day adventure to go!
ReplyDeleteWe're about four hours away from the temple, so it is an all-day adventure! haha
ReplyDeleteAnd primary was fun! I enjoyed it! Highly entertaining!
Still so super jealous of your temple trip. I'm still holding out for march 7ish or 11ish. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I like how Jesse didn't feel the need to stop you when he saw you go in! That is an awesome story :)
