Thanksgiving

So, Thanksgiving this year wasn't very exciting.  I had a sinus infection, Nathaniel had a fever, my sister was in the hospital...

We drove to Marianna on Thanksgiving in the afternoon, even though Nathaniel had a fever of 102.6.  It lasted most of the day.  At this point I was feeling a bit better than I had been.  After a while, Nathaniel started to have fun and run around.  Jesse's mom threw together a Thanksgiving dinner for us last-minute.

Thursday night I got sick from a cough drop and threw up.  Friday, my whole head felt like it was going to explode and I was still nauseous and couldn't eat anything, so I spent the majority of the day in bed.  Nathaniel's fever was gone by Friday, however, and he had fun playing with his grandparents and cousin Amelia.

We were supposed to take family pictures while we were in Marianna, but I felt too crappy.  We had a small celebration for those of us with recent birthdays (Nathaniel, Cory, and me), but I didn't even feel like eating cake!  That's one good thing about this infection; I haven't been tempted to eat sweets.

Anywho, I finally took myself to the doctor the following Monday and got an antibiotic, but I'm still having pretty bad headaches every day.  I took Nathaniel to the doctor two days later, and sure enough, he had an ear infection.  Poor guy.  He was finally starting to feel better and stop being fussy yesterday.

Overall, it was not the holiday I expected!  But Lindy took a few pictures.
